About Me

I am currently based in London, UK! Check out some of my projects here!

My career has evolved from astrophysics research to data science, where I have applied my analytical skills to tackle complex challenges. In my latest role as a Data Scientist at Lanterne Ltd, I focused on using data to boost the efficiency of micromobility fleets and urban transport logistics. By developing demand prediction models and employing geospatial analytics, I played a key role in streamlining operations for our clients across the European and US mobility markets.

Before transitioning into data science, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Riverside California, USA, from 2017 to 2020. My research centered on using observational data to understand the formation and evolution of galaxies over cosmic time. I was a member of the Gemini Observation of Galaxies in Rich Early Environments (GOGREEN) survey, the Spitzer Adaptation of the Red-sequence Cluster Survey (SpARCS) and the KMOS Cluster survey (KCS).

This chapter of my career built upon my PhD work at the Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics (MPE) in Garching, Germany, as part of the International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) on Astrophysics at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. I worked as part of the KCS collaboration, utilizing both space and ground-based telescope observations to study the morphological properties of high-redshift cluster galaxies. Before my PhD, I completed an M.Phil. in Astrophysics and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics/Physics from the University of Hong Kong, marking the start of my journey in scientific research and data analysis.

I am always looking for new opportunities to leverage my data science and analytical skills, and I am eager to continue making meaningful contributions to technology and science. In my free time, I enjoy building plastic model kits, designing 3D models for printing, and gaming with friends.
